Forest Master Turbo

Usewood Forest Master Turbo even more powerful than before.

With the Usewood Forest Master Turbo small forestry has become more powerful and efficient than ever. Getting it's energy from a Kubota V1505T turbo diesel engine and hydraulics driven by a Bosch Rexroth 0-130 l variable displacement pump, Forest Master Turbo provides double the power and 20% more hydraulic oil compared to it's predecessor. When working with a UW180S harvester head, this extra power makes handling heavy logs with big branches smoother than ever.

No matter what time of year or what kind of terrain you work in, the Usewood Forest Master is ready to work with you. Tough jobs in young forests can be more easily, productively and comfortably. Using the Usewood Forest Master Turbo you will step in a new era of forestry.

The light and small harvester can be transported on a car trailer. This minimizes transportation costs, a as truck is not needed. The machine also moves easily and gently in dense young forests leaving hardly any tracks. With low fuel consumption, user friendly controls, easy maintenance and transportation, and efficiency, just to name a few, the Usewood Forest Master Turbo is the perfect machine for young forest management.

Hydraulics

With a 0 to 130 l / min variable displacement pump and load sensing Bosch Rexroth LUDV valves the Usewood Forest Master's hydraulic system is as modern as can be. The system takes care that all parallel movements are always carried out atthe driver's desired speed. Multiple simultaneous movements do not slow each other down. The load sensing hydraulic system works with great efficiency, minimizing the already small fuel consumption of the Usewood Forest Master Turbo.

Usewood RECS control system

Advanced hydraulics need an advanced control system to make full use of their capacity. The Usewood Forest Master Turbo operates with 7 different individual controller modules connected together with the industry's standard CAN-bus to control the hydraulic pump, valves, motor, power consumption, driver controls, cabin peripherals and harvester head. Dividing responsibilities among controllers also divides the risks for system failures and reduces downtime in case of a system fault. With intelligent power control, The Usewood Forest Master Turbo can control the motor and hydraulic pump as efficiently as possible to provide faster movements and move power to the crane and harvester head.

When developing the machine, we wanted to keep the reliability of the electrical system the top priority. That's why most of the controllers are our own design, made specifically for the Usewood Forest Master Turbo. By developing our own controllers with our own software, we can ensure that the machine is built with good quality electrical components and the software is easy and quick to maintain, and also that the price tag of the machine stays low.

Crane

We wanted to design a machine that is as easy and reliable to use as possible. As young forests have high tree densities and the plants need to be left undamaged, it is important for the machine to have a precise crane. That's the reason why we redesigned the whole crane with a stronger structure and bigger joints to meet the young forest environment's demanding challenges. With the aid of the Usewood Forest Master Turbo's control system the driver can adjust the crane to operate just the way he or she wants.

Cabin

We believe that when working long days, operator comfort is one of the most important things. That is why we didn't make any compromises when designing the Usewood Forest Master Turbo's cabin. Our machines are the industry's only machines of their size which provide good visibility, heating and compressor air conditioning as a standard.

Appearance

Along with all the technical improvements we also redesigned the appearance of the machine. But not only for visual purposes. The plastic front and back bonnets endure many more scratches and hits than before, and are very cheap to replace to make an old machine look as good as new.
